(v), possibly 1st Northumerland Royal Garrison Artillery Volunteer corresponding to the Tynemouth Artillery Volunteers who supplied men to the 44th Siege Battery R.G.A. from 1916 and who fought on the Somme, at Vimy and at Cambrai. Exterior in good condition, interior worn, patinated. Named British Artillery Officer's CapKhaki visor cap with short cloth-covered peak and green leather underside. Inside the band is the handwritten name "H. Rollin 1st N.T.R.G.A. (V)," possibly for the 1st Northumberland Royal Garrison Artillery Volunteers, which supplied men to the 44th Siege Battery R.G.A. from 1916 and served at the Somme, Vimy, and Cambrai.
