Chiffre 6 sur carré de drap Gdfb rapporté cousu sur le bandeau, jugulaire troupe à coulisses en cuir fixée par 2 petits boutons type infanterie en laiton. Aérateurs laitons peint écarlates. Visière en cuir avec sur le dessous un tampon à froid hexagonal. Basane de 4,8 cm et doublure de carcasse en toile de jute avec un tampon hexagonal. Calotte doublée de cuir, tampon de réception ovale daté 1897. Sous l'opercule, tampon rond avec date 1897, dessous matricule. Un bon képi règlementaire. Number “6” on a square patch of iron-blue cloth sewn to the band, leather enlisted chinstrap with sliding adjustment, fixed by two small brass infantry buttons. Brass aerators painted scarlet. Leather visor with hexagonal impressed stamp on the underside. 4.8 cm leather sweatband and jute carcass lining bearing a hexagonal stamp. Leather-lined crown with oval acceptance stamp dated 1897, round stamp with same date and handwritten serial number beneath the vent. A fine regulation kepi. Signs of wear.
