Kaizuka entreprend en 1976, en pleine ère mecha, de mettre en manga la véritable histoire de la légende de ce sport, le Yokozuna (plus haut grade du sumo) : Takanohana, qui est une légende au Japon. Pour cette œuvre, Kaizuka décide tantôt le noir et blanc, tantôt la bichromie noire et rouge qui rendent les décors juste exceptionnels de beauté.
