Timothy John Page, dit Tim Page, etait un photographe de guerre britannique ne le 25 mai 1944 a Tunbridge Wells dans le Kent et decede le 24 aout 2022 a Bellingen, en Nouvelle-Galles du Sud, Australie. Laureat de la Robert Capa Gold Medal en 1997, il se fit connaitre par ses photographies prises durant la guerre du Viet Nam. Il realisa notamment des cliches d’une tentative de coup d’etat au Laos en fevrier 1965. Grace a ce reportage, il fut engage comme photographe au Vietnam a partir du 6 fevrier 1965, pour un salaire hebdomadaire de 90 dollars par l’agence United Press International. Il avait alors vingt-et-un ans. Il fut blesse a quatre reprises entre 1965 et 1969. Timothy John Page, known as Tim Page, was a British war photographer born on 25 May 1944 in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, and passed away on 24 August 2022 in Bellingen, New South Wales, Australia. Winner of the Robert Capa Gold Medal in 1997, he became known for his photographs taken during the Vietnam War. He notably photographed a coup attempt in Laos in February 1965. Thanks to this report, he was hired on 6 February 1965 as a photojournalist in Vietnam by United Press International, earning 90 dollars per week. He was 21 years old at the time. Tim Page was wounded four times between 1965 and 1969.
