Timothy John Page, known as Tim Page, was a British war photographer born on 25 May 1944 in Tunbridge Wells, Kent and died on 24 August 2022 in Bellingen, New South Wales, Australia. Winner of the Robert Capa Gold Medal in 1997, he became famous for his photographs taken during the Vietnam War. In particular, he photographed an attempted coup d'etat in Laos in February 1965. Thanks to this reportage, he was hired as a photographer in Vietnam from 6 February 1965, for a weekly salary of 90 dollars by the United Press International agency. He was twenty-one at the time.
