Poignard de tranchée belge. Réalisé avec une lame de baïonnette belge M1889 fabriquée en Angleterre, marquage Sanderson Brothers Sheffield, retaillée en pointe et à double tranchant. Coquille de protection. Forte poignée monobloc en bois. Avec son fourreau en tôle, rebord arrière replié formant un plat percé de 2 trous pour passage d'un lacet de suspension, ce dernier comme souvent absent. Usure d'usage, patine. Belgian Trench DaggerMade from a Belgian M1889 bayonet blade manufactured in England by Sanderson Brothers, Sheffield. The blade has been shortened and double-edged. Fitted with a guard and solid one-piece wooden grip. Accompanied by its metal scabbard with rear folded edge forming a flat section pierced with two holes for suspension laces, now missing as often. Used condition, patina.
