Un marteau se trouve relie a lenclume par un petit ruban tricolore. Il est tres probable que cette enclume fasse partie des cadeaux faits au Marechal Petain lors des audiences quil accordait tous les jeudis a lhotel du Parc. On y joint un fascicule Les Jeudis du Marechal par Noel dOrnans, comprenant 40 pages ainsi que de nombreuses photos. Superb miniature anvil symbolizing national reconstruction under Vichy. One of its sides is engraved with the phrase Let us forge the New France – Ph. Petain Lyon 1942. A small hammer is attached to the anvil by a tricolor ribbon. It is very likely that this item was part of the official gifts presented to the Marshal during the Thursday audiences he held at the Hotel du Parc. Included is a booklet titled The Marshal’s Thursdays by Noel dOrnans, 40 pages with numerous photographs.
