ORIGINAL EDITION of the best and most complete work we have on agriculture in the 18th century, for which Abbé Rozier enlisted the help of the best contributors: Chaptal, Lasteyrie, Cadet de Vaux, Parmentier, etc. The illustrations consist of a frontispiece, 4 fold-out tables and 244 engraved plates, including 2 plates showing domestic animals, scenes from rural life, botanical figures, fruit (apples, pears, vines, etc.), farming tools and implements, etc., and a map. Pages 387 to 390 of volume V are missing, the spines of the last 2 volumes are slightly different. Some foxing, a good copy.
