2 CV AZAM, 1st registered on 27/04/1966, registration 1556 NK 10, collector's registration, serial number 1918743, 6 volts, 91046 km odometer, The first owner was a farmer from Faux Villecerf (Aube, 10). The current owner bought it in 1997. He dismantled it from scratch to treat it for corrosion (hollow body). In 2005, he told us that he had redone the bodywork and original colour paintwork, as well as the front and rear brakes and the original fabric upholstery. This car is driven regularly. The engine is a Citroën exchange standard. Type A 53, it conforms to the model. Fitted with a conventional mechanical clutch, it produces 18 bhp. The carburettor is a Solex 28 CBI fitted with an idle brake adapted to the centrifugal clutch. The 1966 model was fitted with homokinetic cardan shafts and telescopic rear shock absorbers. The platform chassis is sound. The bodywork is in good condition, although the front floorboards have been repaired (2CV disease) with the addition of sheet metal. The front doors are hinged, like all 2CVs since December 1964. The exterior of this luxury model was distinguished by its stainless steel tubular bumper reinforcements, aluminium beading on the bonnet and all the window seals, chrome headlamp rings and wheel trims. The 1966 model year saw the introduction of a small rear quarter window. The exterior accessories were complete. The paintwork was redone in the original opaque light grey known as "Gris Rosé". The apron in the engine compartment retains its original paintwork with the engraved riveted badge "AC 136 ME", which corresponds to "Gris Rosé".
