Exhibited and Published: Museum fur Ostasiatische Kunst, Netsuke, Inro u. a. Sagemono, exhibition catalogue, Cologne, 30 September 1982-2 January 1983, p.71, no.H/3. The story of Kiyohime and her ultimately destructive unrequited passion for the priest Anchin is the subject of a Noh drama, Dojoji.
