ATTIC BLACK-GLAZED POTTERY CUP ON STAND.
Ca. 500 - 400 BC. A black-glazed pottery cup with a broad, shallow bowl and an inward-sloping rim. The stem is tall and narrow, with only the upper portion left unglazed, leading to a disc-shaped foot with a slightly raised edge. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1864,1007.1617. Size: 90mm x 55mm; Weight: 130g Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex. Jean-David Cahn Auktionen, November, 2010.
