Made of hollow gold with repoussé work, the wide ring has identical decoration on each shoulder representing a human head covered with a veil surmounted by two winged horses facing each other.
The almond-shaped bezel is decorated in the centre with a sea horse.
Very well preserved.

A Rare Etruscan hollowed-gold ring. Ca 5th century B.C.
Made of hollow gold and worked in repoussé, the broad hoop features identical decoration on each shoulder: a human head covered with a veil above two confronted winged horses. The almond-shaped bezel is adorned at its centre with a hippocamp.
