Lot no. 11
BMW 1986 M3 (E30) ERRATUM: please note that the car does not start "hot engine". French registration Chassis no. WBSAK010800842865 Certainly the best performing and most accomplished M3 ever entrusted to us. Fitted with a 2,500 cm3 engine developing around 286 bhp, it revs up to 8,000 rpm without ever running out of breath. The work carried out is quite simply mind-boggling: balanced crankshaft, Gr. A cylinder head, large cast butterflies (45/48), Motorsport carbon airbox, special radiator, Magneti-Marelli management box... To cope with this avalanche of power, the running gear has been revised and improved, including 4 Bilstein dampers with Gr. N springs, large-diameter stabiliser bars and a self-locking Z3 M axle fitted with a cooler. Aesthetically very civilised, our M3 takes on the Nogaro grey metallic hue of the Evolution II; in the cabin, we find black leather upholstery with a fine patina, and a sunroof. Of French origin, this M3 was acquired in 2017 by its current owner; a joy to drive both on the torque and at the limit, this car has been built without cost limits and is aimed at a demanding collector. Vehicle records and condition reports are available on request and must be viewed in full by bidders prior to the sale.
