At the time, it was owned by the Abbaye de La Bussière, where Cistercian monks lived. Even back then, the monks noticed the unique character of this Clos and its wines. The subsoil of this parcel is very rocky, covered with iron-rich clay. This 1er Cru releases powerful, rustic and wild aromas that need time to mature in bottle. The wine plunges into a basket of black fruit. On the palate, we find the typical characteristics of the village wines: elegance and delicacy. The wine has a very long finish.
