CHANDELIER Empire, Vienna, early 19th century. Metal painted black and bronze, partly gilt. Bowl-shaped chandelier body, the inside later painted white, the outside with applied gilt decoration in the form of palmettes and acanthus leaves, and cones at the end. Ten curved light branches with leaf decoration, each ending in pairs of Jupiter heads. The vase-shaped nozzles with leaf decoration are suspended from gilt chains (shortened), as is the ceiling plate; the lower face features a gilt decorative frieze. Fitted for electricity. Ø 65 cm, H 67 cm. Fitting for electricity needs to be checked. Paintwork in part later. ------------------------------------------------- DECKENLEUCHTER Empire, Wien, Anfang 19. Jh. Metall schwarz gefasst sowie Bronze teils vergoldet. Schalenförmiger Leuchterkörper, die Innenseite später weiss bemalt, aussen mit appliziertem, vergoldetem Dekor in Form von Palmetten und Akanthusblättern sowie Zapfen als Abschluss. Zehn geschweifte Lichtarme mit Blattdekor, je zu Paaren aus Jupiterköpfen mündend. Die vasenförmigen Tüllen mit Blattdekor hängen an vergoldeten Ketten (gekürzt) sowie Deckenplatte, die untere Schauseite mit vergoldetem Dekorfries. Elektrifiziert. Ø 65 cm, H 67 cm.
