COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN BRONZE TOOLS. Middle Kingdom to New Kingdom, Ca. 2055 - 1070 BC. A collection of six bronze tools, arranged as follows from top to bottom: broad flat axe head, rectangular in form with flaring sides and a slightly curved cutting edge; dagger blade, narrow and leaf-shaped, tapering gradually towards a rounded point. The tang is short and slightly thickened; socketed axe head, with a broad blade widening towards the cutting edge and a cylindrical socket for hafting; bronze tweezers, formed from a single strip of bronze bent into a loop, with flattened tips at both ends; a small blade, rectangular with a slightly offset tang, and a bronze spatula, with a narrow, flat blade and round-section handle.
