COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN PYRIFORM ALABASTER VESSELS. Old Kingdom, 6th Dynasty, Ca. 2345 - 2181 BC. A collection of six truncated conical vessels carved from alabaster, each with an elongated, tapering body and a wide, concave lip. All share a consistent form, with variations in height and surface tone. The vessels are mounted on custom bases for display.
