COLLECTION OF XENON WARE VESSELS. Ca. 320 - 280 BC. A collection of three Xenon ware vessels with applied red decoration, each with twin handles and black-glazed surfaces. The one on the left is a kantharos with a rounded body on a narrow stem foot, adorned with a central meander frieze between horizontal lines. The middle one is a squat cup with a globular body and short foot, decorated with vertical zigzag motifs framed by straight bands. The vessel on the right is another cup with a tall, tapering body and flaring mouth, featuring a central wavy line bordered by parallel bands.
