CONSOLE TABLE Régence, France, ca. 1720/30. Oak, richly and partly pierced and carved with latticework, rocaille, scrolls, shells, flowers and dragons, and gilt. Rectangular “Campan rubané” marble top with molded edges on a pierced, cut-out frame and volute legs connected by a curved X-shaped stretcher with a central shell. 164 × 79 × 84 cm. Eiche reich und teils durchbrochen geschnitzt mit Gitterwerk, Rocaillen, Voluten, Muscheln, Blüten und Drachen sowie vergoldet. Rechteckiges, randmoulüriertes "Campan rubané"-Marmorblatt auf durchbrochener ausgeschnittener Zarge und durch geschweiften X-Steg mit zentraler Muschel verbundenen Volutenbeinen. 164 × 79 × 84 cm. Vergoldung teils berieben und mit geringen Fehlstellen. Marmor wohl später und aus zwei Teilen zusammengesetzt. Für die Bestimmung des Marmors vgl.
