The figure is shown seated on a throne. The back of the body is indiscernibly protruding from the seat. Dressed in a chiton wrapped in a himation, the contrasting folds of which are discernible at the feet.
The cloak covers the whole of her body, right down to her head, revealing a few strands of hair. The face is a soft oval, with large eyes and hemmed upper eyelids. The nose is straight and the mouth full and open.
This lady represents the transition between the archaic style - represented by a certain rigidity and hieraticism - and the classical style - with a delicate, precise face and expressive eyes.
Exceptional state of conservation. Very good size.
