EARLY GREEK/ BRONZE AGE MACE HEAD WITH GEOMETRIC MOTIF. Ca. 900 - 800 BC. A cast bronze mace head of cylindrical form, encircled by three raised bands that divide the surface into two distinct registers. The lower register displays splayed creatures with extended limbs, while the lower register is filled with pairs of facing ibexes, arranged symmetrically between elongated cut-outs.
