EGYPTIAN BLACK STONE KOHL POT. New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A black stone kohl container composed of three parts. The lenticular body has a flattened base and a short neck, surmounted by a separately carved annular lip and sealed with a flat discoidal lid featuring a central plug.
