EGYPTIAN BLUE LOTUS FLOWER TERMINAL. Third Intermediate Period, Ca. 1069 - 664 BC. An Egyptian blue lotus flower terminal modelled as an open blossom with flaring, incised petals and voluted side lobes. The decoration is identical on both faces. Three circular drill holes are present along the upper edge. Mounted on a modern stand. Size: 55mm x 50mm; Weight: 45g Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex. Rupert Wace, 14 November, 2007. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
