EGYPTIAN BRONZE CAT FIGURE.
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC.
A bronze figure in the form of a cat, reflecting the Egyptian practice of associating specific animals with deities - such as the hawk with Ra, the lion with Sakhmet, the ram with Khnum, and the cat with Bastet.
