EGYPTIAN GRANITE VESSEL.
Naqada II – Thinite Period, Ca. 3500 - 2900 BC. An ovoid vessel carved from dark grey granite with white and reddish inclusions. The body tapers towards the flat base. Two small protruding button handles are symmetrically placed on either side of the shoulder. For similar see: A.
