EGYPTIAN OR SYRIAN POTTERY SHERD - ex. BONHAMS. Ca. AD 1400 - 1500. A glazed ceramic sherd with a bichrome blue-on-turquoise design. One side displays part of a register with geometric patterning and a striding quadruped above a stylised floral motif. The reverse bears a dotted band and stylised vegetal elements.
