EGYPTIAN SANDSTONE RELIEF FRAGMENT WITH OFFERING SCENE. New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A sandstone relief fragment preserving part of a horizontal register with two male figures carved in sunk relief. Both are depicted in profile facing right, wearing close-fitting caps and raising their right arms. Resting across their shoulders is a long, horizontal object carried by both figures, terminating at one end in a trefoil-shaped finial.
