EGYPTIAN STONE HEAD.
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 30 BC.
A head sculpted from greenish soapstone, depicting an individual wearing a tripartite wig that frames the face. The eyes are almond-shaped with deeply incised cosmetic lines, and the lips are full and slightly upturned. The reverse is flat and undecorated.
