EGYPTIAN WOODEN FIGURINES FROM A CEREMONIAL BOAT. Middle Kingdom, Ca. 2055 - 1790 BC. A collection of painted wooden components from an Egyptian ceremonial boat, including two kneeling male figures with red-painted bodies and white kilts, a rectangular chest painted in red and black, and two angled bollards. The elements are set on a modern acrylic base replicating the original layout of the boat. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number EA35204.
