A yellowish stone amulet depicting a locust, an insect that played a role in the Pyramid Texts and the Book of the Dead. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
