Base in moulded oak. 19th century Total height : 32 cm Bronze height: 26 cm. Note: Rare proof produced during the artist's lifetime, presented at the Salon in 1852. The Musée d'Orsay has only one plaster on a wooden plate and the Musée de Valence a bronze bequeathed in 1905. This piece has not appeared at public auction for over 30 years.
