Private purchase American-Canadian dog bowl. Set of aluminium bowls from Wear-Ever by N.A. Co Ltd. This type of bowl was used by American and Canadian Scouts at the beginning of the 20th century and could therefore have been found in the kit of a Sammy or a Canadian soldier. It consists of a small frying pan, a plate and a bowl with lid, all 4 pieces engraved with the French name CAULIER, and held together by a handle. All in a beige canvas cover with snap closure, functional and with a canvas carrying strap with 8-shaped buckles. Wear, stains, tear at one end. An unusual item. This type was used by early 20th-century American and Canadian Scouts and could have been found in the field gear of U.S. or Canadian soldiers. Consisting of a small frying pan, a plate and a covered dish, the four pieces engraved with the francophone name "CAULIER," held together by a handle-shaped clip. Contained in a beige canvas pouch with functional snap closure and carrying strap with figure-8 buckles. Shows wear, stains, and a tear at one end. An uncommon private purchase item.
