GNATHIAN OINOCHOE WITH GRAPES. Ca. 350 - 300 BC. A black-glazed oinochoe with an ovoid body on a thin ring base, a tall neck with trefoil mouth, and a single handle joining the rim and shoulder. The upper section is decorated in added red, white, and yellow pigments, arranged in a structured sequence comprising a band of tongues at the shoulder, followed by rows of dotted lines, a key-pattern frieze, plain horizontal bands, and a register of pendant grape clusters framed by scrolling tendrils.
