The cup with an oval reserve with a single bird within an etched laurel border with foliate scrolls and foliate wreaths, the saucer painted with a bird in a landscape within an etched Rocaille border with flowering branches. Each piece has a gold rim and a “dentil d'or” border. The saucer is monogrammed LL and has the year code M for 1765 and the painter's mark cp for Chappuis ainé (1761-1787) in blue; the cup is not marked. H 6 cm. Ø 13.8 cm.
