A large Chinese blue and white porcelain sleeve vase (筒瓶). The vase is painted with an outdoor scene depicting an official and his assistants in conversation, all beneath a band of incised scrolling flowers on the shoulder and stylised leaves on the rim of the mouthpiece. Transitional style, probably 17th century or late 19th century. Height: 46 cm. Perfect condition.
