GREEK BRONZE LOBED PHIALE MESOMPHALOS. Ca. 500 - 300 BC. A bronze phiale with a rounded body and a raised omphalos at the centre. The flat underside is decorated with a series of deeply incised flutes radiating from the central boss, alternately interspersed with almond-shaped lobes. The rim is slightly everted.
