GREEK ERA GRANITE VESSEL WITH RIBBED BODY. Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A granite vessel with a flaring mouth, concave collar, and rounded body, tapering to a flat base. The exterior surface is incised with closely spaced horizontal ribs encircling the body from shoulder to base. Size: 80mm x 50mm; Weight: 240g Provenance: Property of a West London gentleman; previously in a collection formed on the UK/International art market in the 1990s.
