GREEK PERIOD SILVER GOAT WITH GOLD HORNS AND EYE. Ca. 600 - 500 BC. A silver figure of a leaping goat depicted with elongated legs and a curving neck. Incised lines define the musculature along the haunches and shoulders, while the head features prominent horns and a sharply contoured snout. One horn and both eyes are inlaid with sheet gold.
