In the dining rooms of the first-class suites, the tables are set with this timeless place setting designed by Jean Puiforcat in 1934. * The Royan model is identical to the Normandie model created in 1934 for the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique. The silver Royan model was used in the first-class restaurant on the Normandie liner, which travelled between Le Havre and New York, while the silver Normandie model was used in the other restaurants.
