H. 13.5 x W. 21.5 cm Gnathia, second half of the 4th century BC Provenance Former English private collection Private collection, acquired from Ancient Resource, L.A, July 2013 The neck decorated with a frieze of dots and waves. On the body, a crouching Silenus holding a bird in his hands. The scene framed by friezes of ivy. Very well preserved. A Gnathian ware kylix. Second half of the 4th century B.C.
