A North African terracotta oil lamp. with partially worn red slip surface.
Sunken central discus with filling hole showing the right profile of a
helmeted and cuirassed charioteer racing two horses at full gallop (big).
Chariot well outlined (5 spoke wheels). Ground indicated by a ridge. Volute
lamp with wide nozzle, no handle. Small central vent hole at the base of the
nozzle. Unsigned. 59-150 A.D.
