Consisting of: Chinese woman as a barker, Chinese man with a bassoon (Ref. Hofmann 484), Chinese man with a horn, Chinese woman with a tray (cf. Beaucamp 285), Chinese man with a violin (Ref. Hofmann 500, Beaucamp 284), Chinese woman with a basket, a figure as a barker in an oriental costume, Chinese man with a horn and a Chinese man with two baskets. The magnificent Frankenthal porcelain Chinese houses by the modeller Carl Gottlieb Lück, which originate from the same context, are documented as a dessert table decoration in the German Rhineland from 1769/1771, thanks to information from an inventory of Oggersheim Palace (B. Beaucamp-Markowsky, Frankenthaler Porzellan. Die Plastik, 2008, p.524). It is highly likely that the numerous figures that have survived, mostly town criers or musicians, were added to such an ensemble as table decoration, as is often recorded in the table culture of the 18th century. ------------------------------------------------- NEUN FIGUREN AUS EINER SERIE VON "CHINESEN" Frankenthal, um 1773–1778. Hofmann 484), Chinese mit Horn, Chinesin mit Bodenschale (Vgl. Beaucamp 285), Chinese mit Violine (Ref. Hofmann 500, Beaucamp 284), Chinesin mit Korb, Figur als Ausrufer in orientalischer Tracht, Chinese mit Horn und Chinese mit zwei Körben. Die aus dem gleichen Kontext stammenden prächtigen Frankenthaler Chinesenhäuschen von dem Modelleur Carl Gottlieb Lück, sind dank Angaben aus einem Inventar von Schloss Oggersheim im deutschen Rheinland aus dem Jahr 1769/1771 als Dekoration für eine Desserttafel belegt (B. Beaucamp-Markowsky, Frankenthaler Porzellan. Die Plastik, 2008, S.524). Mit grosser Wahrschenlichkeit ergänzten die zahlreich überlieferten Figuren, meist Ausrufer oder Musikanten, ein solches Ensemble als Tafelschmuck, so wie es in der Tafelkultur des 18. Jh. vielfach überliefert ist.
