PHOENICIAN GLASS AMPHORISKOS. Ca. 600 - 400 BC. A core-formed glass amphoriskos of squat form. The vessel bears sloping shoulders, a pair of curling trail loops, a flared rim, and a near-spherical body. The opaque red body is embellished with rings of opaque yellow and a pale blue zig-zag motif encircling the midsection, additional yellow and pale blue rings around the lower part of the body, and another yellow ring that constitutes the lip of the rim.
