Steinway&Sons concert grand piano, model D, serial number 589261, purchased new in 2011. Used as the main concert instrument between 2011 and 2021 at the CNSMD in Lyon. This large model (274 cm long) weighs in at around 500 kg and is a perfect example of the symbiosis between passionate craftsmanship, incomparable sound volume and uniquely expressive touch. A must-have instrument on international stages, and a benchmark for international pianists and passionate amateurs alike. This piano has been used as a concert instrument and has been maintained by the CNSM in Lyon. A few minor presentation defects and traces of corrosion on the strings. This piano is perfectly playable but will nevertheless require a complete overhaul (hammer felts, string cleaning, etc.).
