Chinese porcelain "figurative" plate of the green family. This image shows a beautiful ceramic plate with a traditional hand-painted Chinese motif. The central motif depicts a graceful woman dressed in elegant, flowing robes with green and red accents. She appears to be holding a fan, exuding a serene and refined presence. The background features a natural landscape with high, stylised green mountains, bamboo and rock formations, creating a peaceful, harmonious scene. At the bottom, decorative red and green floral motifs add a dynamic touch. The artwork on the plate reflects classical Chinese aesthetic themes, emphasising nature, elegance and harmony. The finesse of the brushwork and the brilliance of the glaze testify to the skill of the craftsman. Kang-xi period, 18th century.
