In a lower cartouche, it reads, in manuscript, the following: 'El Ilmo. Sr. Arzobispo D. D. Francisco Javier Garaycoa, concede 80 dias de induljencias, por rezar una salve á esta soberana imajen. El Ilmo. Sr. Obispo D. D. José María Riofrio concede 40 dias de induljencia rezandola una salve, y otros 40 dias rezando un padre nuestro á cada uno de los Anjeles y Santos que la contienen. Quito, mayo 15 de 1856.'
