RARE EGYPTIAN PAINTED TERRACOTTA FERTILITY FIGURE. Middle Kingdom, 13th Dynasty, Ca. 1803 - 1649 BC. A painted terracotta figure depicting a standing female with elongated proportions. The face is framed by a thick wig painted in alternating black, white and red stripes. The torso is decorated with a regular arrangement of painted dots, and both arms extend straight down alongside the body. The reverse is plain.
