RARE EGYPTIAN SERPENTINE COSMETIC JAR. Early Dynastic Period, Ca. 3100 - 2700 BC. A stone lenticular cosmetic jar with a flattened globular body and everted rim. The vessel is carved from finely veined serpentine with irregular black and brown striations across the surface. Size: 45mm x 20mm; Weight: 50g Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex.
