RARE PROTO-CORINTHIAN POTTERY KOTYLE. Ca. 700 - 600 BC. A terracotta kotyle with a deep body tapering to a narrow ring foot, and two horizontal strap handles at the rim. The exterior is decorated with closely spaced horizontal bands around the body, while the upper zone beneath the rim bears a frieze of S-shaped motifs set between vertical bars.
