Rare tureen and lid in Chinese porcelain of the green family. The design is inspired by Rouen faience from the early 18th century. The floral decoration, bright green family colours and unusual green snake handle make this piece quite distinctive. The interior also features floral motifs that suggest the high quality of work often found in Chinese export porcelain of the Qing dynasty. Yongzheng period, 18th century.
